Default How do you do it?

I have seen some pretty cool pictures in this forum of brilliant 'cable management' .... and I have just one question for you .... how do you do it???

I'm putting together my new PC and I'm thinking 'this is gonna look like a complete mess'. I have cables crossing everywhere and they can barely reach their destinations.

Unless you're using invisible cables I don't know how you do it. Do you order cable extensions and then hide them behind the mobo or what? Please enlighten me.

FYI, I've got an Antec 900 with a EVGA nForce 680i motherboard.

Cheers.
Anders

Depends on the case and set up really... The levels of difficulty vary greatly.

But it takes a lot of thought, pre planning, and time.

Just make sure you plan it out, i hate when i set something semi permanently then find out it conflicts with another cable or something.

It's not like we can really help you via a forum lol, even if you give us a picture all we can say is shove the cords out of view, nothing you couldn't figure out yourself lol.

Typically, hiding cables involves a wide variety of options. You can hole saw some new holes under the motherboard to run some of the motherboard bound wires through.

You can use zip ties to tie the wires along the ceiling of the case and on the sides so that they are invisible until the last possible second.

Takes innovation above all else..
