Yea, basically wrap the wires, place some of the heatwrap over the ends, and warm it up with a blow dryer

Okay, after cutting the mesh sleeving, I like to poke a screwdriver a bit through the end (just to maintain shape and hold it) then lightly (LIGHTLY) melt the end all around with a lighter. Helps reduce fraying.
The rubber is shrink wrap. Generally it goes over the zip ties, which in-turn go over the ends of your mesh sleeving on the cords to hold them tight over the cords and in place. To shrink the wrap, use a blow dryer on Hi heat.

Alright. Well I cut a couple 5 mm strips of each off and I'm currently experimenting. Seems the mesh is flammable, but like plastic will MELT and not burst into flame is not in direct contact. So maybe a screwdriver is a good idea. Now what if I don't have a molex pin remover?

No molex remover = have fun slipping the sleeving over the molex. And have even more fun fitting the heatshrink over the molex.

Where can I find a cheap one? I need to be able to remove male and female ends.
