This weekend I'll be doing the Antec 900 cable management mod. I am planning out the mod and was wondering how to remove the top of the case?

There are 2 screws in top, as well as either four or six (I cannot remember) clips that hold it on. You'll have to use a rather long screwdriver or the like to unclip the ones toward the front of the case. It's rather easy after you see how it's mounted.

I used a long, thin flat head screwdriver. Use a combination of something like that (maybe a ruler or something might work) and putting LIGHT upward pressure on the side you're trying to remove so as not to break the plastic clips.

i suggest you drill 2 small poking holes for ease of removal of the top plate.
i have no clue why they made it so difficult to remove.

It was a PITA to get the top off. Good luck. Wedge something in there and then see if you can poke out the two things holding the top on...

I managed to get it off with a pencil. I suggest using something small enough to get through that metal plate but also thick enough to press the two front pins. Unfortunately when I put everything back together, my motherboard was dead.

I'm sure that you used a few of the choice words that I would have after going through that not so fun process only to get slapped with a dead board. Sorry for your luck.
