I appreciate the help everyone. And to those of you warning me to make sure what I'm doing, I thank you as well. I'm an engineering student and have worked around power tools, shops, etc. I think I can do it, I'll need to do some good planning though. I guess I was just hoping for some good links and some ideas. Thanks again everyone!

Do you have an idea of what you want to build? Make some sketches of what you want and we could help you better. Also make a list of material that you want to use.

Wbas, well in that case I would recomend what ice_owl said. Get an idea of what you want, whether it a box/tower/unique shape. What your going for with either air cooling or WC'ing.. and post up a sketch and we can help as best we can..

1) It's easier for me to get 2) I have the tools to work with it 3) I think it would be easier to work with My questions are: 1) Do I have to worry about heat, maybe line the inside with something? 2) Would this be quieter than metal? I would use simple metal brackets and rubber mounts (stuff found in a common hardware or auto store) to dampen the vibration on my psu, fans, and hdd. Also I would probably implement fan filters for 2 intake fans (any good recommendations?). My main goal is to build a case that is quiet, cools well and keeps things clean. Meanwhile, making it as small as possible
