Default Taking apart my Mozart TV

Sorry, title is meant to be TX, was watching TV at the time.

I'm painting my side panels and top and i'm having a bit of trouble taking off the hatches, i'm not sure if there is a trick to them or what, but whatever i try (brute force or trying to carefully manipulate it) i never can seem to get it open.

I've supplied a picture for all to get a closer look.

If it can't be taken off, would it still work to put masking tape over it?

*UPDATE*

I managed to get them off, after many hours of trying to pry them open, i ended up using a file, and managed to cut my hand in the process... If anyone else is planning on doing this, DONT!

I recomend that you get something flat and easy to grip (flat head screw driver) and push down, get one off, and hold it there, then work the rest out too, once you get one the rest follow alot easier.

Thanks all
