Hey guys. I don't know if this really counts as a mod but I have no clue where else to post this question.
__________________I'm trying to explore different options in making the inside of my case brighter. Basically, I want it to glow to the point where it 1) makes me feel like im tripping and 2) lights up at least half of a regular bedroom. I only have 3 LED fans in my case, and they are decently bright. Idk I guess what I'm trying to ask is that for LED fanatics alike.... 1) Are there any products that are must haves in terms of case lighting? Brand names? 2) How would I go about getting sleeves for my power supply cords so they react to the LED light? 3) Is there a relatively user friendly/popular website where you guys get these products from? Thanks for your help.

Pick your favorite color and get two sets , this thing will distract low-flying airplanes.
Cyberdruid is also an infamously active member on this forum so any questions about anything and he can help you out. Good Luck.

LED's are one way to go and they are cheap. You can find all kinds on Ebay and you'll get them in lots of 100 including the resistors if you choose to wire in parallel. Then you just need to figure out how you are going to mount them. I used a strip of plexi about 3/8 x 3/8 x 18 and ran two sets of three. Now that I think about it I didn't take pictures...
I'll need to disassemble it and take some for my worklog. Anyway, then you are only restricted to your imagination as to mounting.Cathodes are also a nice choice though IMHO the fact that they are a straight tube makes their use a little more difficult in that you have to be careful where you place them, especially if you aren't going to add length to the wire leads. I have 2 UV's in my current build (you can see the one going across and just make out the one in the back going top to bottom) and one thing I noticed is that things like GPU's and HS's will cast shadows that you might not be happy with.

LED Reactive lighting? Unless those LEDs happen to be UV then that isn't likely.
UV reactive cable sleeving can be picked up at xoxide.com, performance-pcs.com or frozencpu.com. My personal fav is the 'Ogre' green/black UV reactive cable sleeving available at http://performance-pcs.com They also have loads of other case lighting paraphernalia there.
