Question My micro atx modding project questions.

First let me start by saying hello to everyone.

I have two question regarding my case modd any suggestions, ideas or help would be highly appreciated.

1. I have taken a micro ATX case and cut holes for 2 120mm fans and 4 holes for 4 80mm fans. Which is the best way to paint my case? Using regular paint or too powder coat my case. I will be doing the labor my self of course. I can get the powder coat system from sears or i can use a modding guide that uses can paint to achieve a gloss finish.

2. I have many extra little vent holes that came with the case design. I would like to know the best way to cover them up in order to primer and paint over them. Does any one have any ideas.
one idea i had is to fill them with lead.

I will post as soon as possible pictures of the current stage of my case project so you can see it and offer ideas and suggestion. I have one case that is a running system almost ready to paint and a second that is still in rough cutting stage.

Thank you in advance for any help.

I'm really not very good @ painting :/ I'd say use regular paint but IDK... Try and find Cyberdruid and ask him. He is a god when it comes to modding

Depends how much money you've got. Obviously the powder coat will give a better finish as it is more professional, but using spray cans will be cheaper

Fill them with lead?

You could either:

Cut the whole piece of metal out with them on and replace it with a new piece, and then Bondo over the joints, or simply put Bondo in the holes and sand it down

home powder coating usually produces crappy results.

go for paint of have a shop p/c it. remember to put screws in all the holes you dont want sealed off if you do go the p/c route
