New to Overclock.net

just did a lil engraving. but im having trouble getting it to catch light. thers a light right under it. perpendicular to it of course. egrave deeper?? i only did surface engraving so that may be the reason. anyway....

what did you use to engrave it?
For maximum light defraction your engraving needs to have right angles perpendicular to the face of the acrylic. Crude drawing: ----|___|---- Where the channel is actually a portion (line, radius, etc) of your engraving.

I had the same problem on Lexan with a dremel so I went out and bought a sand blaster, a very small one with 220 grit blast medium. I will let you know how it goes.
