Default Factory Cable Mgmt on new Antec 900!

I guess Antec has been noticing that people are having to mod their cases for cable management. I unpacked a new Antec 900 this weekend and didn't notice it right away.

I turned the case around for this photo, only to notice two large cutouts for next to the motherboard!

Suh-WEET! That's two less holes I have to cut! Nice job, Antec!

I'd be interested if they truly implemented that based on seeing results on the web, or if it was in the works for a while internally. Nevertheless, good to see some improvement.

I have been in contact with the Antec Reps starting about 6 months ago. I have sent them pictures of my work including the top mounted rad and the cable management mod. Coincidence?

We will never know.

There are no coincidences. Either this is my universe and I made you up or this is your universe and you made me up. Either way, we are in this together

You shoulda emphasized the PSU hole for cables and upside PSU thing lol.

I got to play with the new A900 recently... Sure it's nice if you don't plan on cutting holes.

But if you are cutting holes it doesn't really help. Well, I guess you don't have to cut anything for the hard drives, but the other hole isn't really that useful IMO. It kinda gets in the way for holes cut right up against the mobo.

Nice to know case makers are learning though. Maybe one day they will come with all the holes you need.

But that might would make us cable management pros worthless lol. So to that idea.

I'm not surprised if they weren't watching and listening. They still should have cut the hole for PSU cables first. It was a welcomed surprise nonetheless! They are coming standard with the water cooling ports in the rear now, I'm sure you were responsible for that, CD!
