is there any way, that i could buy a usb button, that when pressed would change the clock speed via clockgen or a similar program? I am going to build a computer for someone, but he wants a turbo button. any ideas?

just put a turbo button with a light on it, overclock the thing with the bios. I doubt he will know its just a light depending on what he knows about computers. JUst remember not to tell him it doesnt do anything.

If there is a way to load a profile in the program, you could theoretically do it by assigning the profile to a key press combo.

i have made it before where it overclocks if you hit a specific function key using a .bat file, but i want a physical button to overclock the cpu, not by much, but enough.

It still isn't a good idea to overclock within Windows. Tell him to just forget about it.
