Good place/site to buy cast acrylic? - Overclock.net

Hey guys

looking for a good place/site to buy cast acrylic for a window mod, anyone have any ideas? I live in canada so if you know of a good place in canada that sells it that would be awsome (dam border tax!)

the best i have found so far is McMaster.com but its American and internatinal shipping in killer.

Delvies plastics, about the cheapest you will find, I have ordered sheets for aquariums I have built from them, they are in Utah though. WHy not get a custom cut piece of glass for what you need. Most sheet glass is made in Canada including super clear starfire glass, plus you wont have to worry about scratches. Here is a custom aquarium shop in Canada, email them they might be able to get you a sheet.

I also live in Canada and I'm sorry I can't help you. I don't know of any mod stores that are from Canada...Maybe we should start one, we'd sure get a lot of business

. There's only two places that I really know of and that's performance-pcs.com and frozencpu.com and even though they have cheap shipping costs from them to Montreal (~$10), they're both from the US and thus only ship with UPS or USPS (which are a — to deal with when it comes to border taxes)

lol yea a candian mod shop would make a killing, there is a market for it here. Not sure about useing glass for a window mod though as i was thinking of putting a fan hole in it so it would have to be custom made (wich might be more exspensive then shipping lol). Starholdest, how much did you pay in border tax? Cant belive our dollar is higher and were still getting ripped off :O

i just found out home depot can order some, think ill take a trip down there to see what they charge, if not then ill most likely have to pay the border tax :S

Home Depot should carry sheets. The Lowes around here (similar store) does.
