Orite people,

Im gonna paint my case inside [ CM cavalier ] in bout 2-3 weeks but i dont know what colour to go for, i was thinking about plain black but now i think it's just boring , blue maybe ? Saw someone's 900 painted yellow inside, looks cool as well , should i go for some funky colour ?

Me needz ideaz ppl !

PS , does anyone know how to take these tool-less thingys off ?

Pick random part in your case. Take that color. Can't be PCB color. Because that'd be green and green is everywhere. Use that. You don't want a bag of skittles for a case. Keep it to ~3 colors tops. At least, IMO.

I'd do black outside, and xxx color inside. (Yellow, red, black again, silver, white, blue, something.)

Black/Black is always good!

Do you have the case? There's no way to unscrew them or pop them off? Just try messing with one of them.

TBH i cant be arsed to paint it outside

im gonna have window cut next week so it will look way better than it does now - i just hate the greyness inside

My MoBo is black
CPU Cooling silver
PSU is black
GPU - blue
2x 12" blue cold cathodes
2x blue led fans
silver fan grills
red akasa exhaust blower

Blue then yeah ?

yep i do have the case, and no theres no way to get them off ... i guess ill have to paint them as well

Ill think about goin black again

I'd go for a dark dark dark blue, and then the tooless plastic pieces a baby-ish blue.

Horrible photoshop, but you get the point.

I'm pretty sure that was my yellow/black 900 that you saw. I'm doing a white/black 900 combo right now too.

You know, I'm thinking that the gloss orange/flat black combo looks pretty tight too. I like it on the cars I've seen, like these:

Then you could mod with orange UV fans, etc. The black mobo, PCI cards and drives would contrast nicely! Orange is a bold color, though...much like white/yellow. the darker the color the more dust will show. Another forum member, Wire, did his in blue and it looks great.

Let us know what you decide to do.

My advice:

Outside, get that dark, midnight blue.

Inside, get some poppin, bright, pearly, white.

Paint your fans white too!

As to the removal of the tooless bits, try some brute force and a screwdriver?

I think thats exactly what im going to do , dark on the outside [ if i can be arsed ] and then ornage or yellow inside !
