Default Best case fans

Looking for THE best 120mm and 140mm case fans. I plan on ordering either a coolermaster cm 690, antec 900, or antec p182 case. I dont want to spend a fortune on fans. something like $5 a fan would be nice, considered some yate loons, but anyone else have any other good fan ideas?

You need to tell us what you consider to be "best." Are you looking for quiet or all out airflow ignoring noise? I warn you, if you say all out performance, you're going to get recommended a Delta that will sound like a vacuum cleaner.

What kind of noise can you tolerate? That will definitely play into your decision, like I don't mind my case sounding like a jet engine because I tune it out, but that might be a concern of yours.

Bah, sccr64472 said it before me, and ironically it took me that so long to post because I was having trouble spelling definitely, lol. No joke.

My personal opinion:

Best Airflow/Noise - Papst
Best Airflow/Price - Yate Loons/Panaflo
Best Looks - Aerocooler/Blackfire4
Best Liars - SilenX
Best Airflow - Delta
Best Price - Yate Loon/Panaflo M1A
Best Noise - Nexus/Scythe

Well this is what I have in my CM690 and it works great.

120mm fan x5 - Masscool BLD12025S1M$4.99ea. (I have 7 but the side fans don't help)
Fan Controllers - Sunbeam RHK-BA Rheobus$13.99ea.

The fans are very powerful, they can be a little loud at full speed (that is part of the cases fault thought). With the fan controllers though, you can decide when you want great airflow or silence. The CM690 has some airflow problems but nothing some simple mods can't fix.

If you want 25dba expect at most under 70cfm and that is on the Panasonic 120mm L1A. What I believe the absolutely best fans in terms of performance/noise are the following: PAPST, Akasa, Scythe, Panaflo, and Yate Loons. Good luck finding PAPST fans though. They cost about $40 a bucks last time I checked at directron.com

As far as 140mm, there isn't too much competition...ADDA, Yate Loon, and Aerocool. I personally love the Aerocool fans. They look absolutely amazing when on because due to the reflective paint on the fan blades and the slow speed they spin at, it looks like a inverted disco ball or rasengan from Naruto

Default Thermaltake thunderblades

These Thermaltake fans seem pretty good, Im ordering them for my new CM690 but haven't actually tried them yet. Look pretty good on paper tho, 78 CFM and 21 dBa.

heres a link to them: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811999127
