I tried that and it didn't work as good. If you had big enough sleeving you could probably do it. I tried it with the 1/2" sleeving and I couldn't get the molex plugs to go through it. in the long run you would be better off taking off the plugs for a better look, plus it is a lot easier.

Ok i figured out how to put sleeving on ur ATA power cables. I drew a crude diagram on paint . Pretty much if look on top of the connector you will see that it look as though the top can come off... this is ture it can! Pull it off and you will see 5 slot. It looks as though the wires are just pushed down into the connector and this is true so you pretty much pull them up and they come out. To put them back in just put the wires on top of the top and use a paperclip to push them down.

O and just a side note: For all those who want to mod their PSU's and are to cheap to buy the Molex tool.... i really suggest you buy it..because i had to use a paperclip and a pin to get the Pins out the the connector..and man let me tell you that was tough.!!Took me 5hrs to sleeve my PSU

Thanks for the info, I noticed that also when I did the guide. The only problem I had with it was not the middle connector, but the end connector. The end connector is actually molded around the wires and you would have to use a large sleeve to get the connector through. I was going to try it but thought it might look sloppy, so I didn't do it. If you did yours, please post some pics.

Well I tried it out, I didnt end up doing it on my nice PC but i did do it on my Server as a test to make sure I could do it without messing up lol. Instead of buying the some of the tools, I tried using different things. I end up using the staple and a very small paperclip. Worked well. And I am surprised i didnt end up messing up lol. Very good work and thanks

Sorry I didn't post back sooner. If you have the picture uploaded on the web, just click on the "Insert Image" (little mountain picture in the message toolbar), insert the image location (web address to the picture) and it should show up in your post.

i think i'll just wrap all my wires tight with clear or electrical tape.. then itll take up less space and look better
