ARGH! i was playing around with my old PSU, seeing if i could get the pins out and back in. I could do the floppy power cables, and the Sata power at the end of the cable, but not the sata midway along the cable (altho i see how it come off, but its difficult)
The rest of the pins dont want to budge. I would buy tools to do it with, but i dont know of any site that sell stuff in GBP £. I normally use Chillblast.com but they dont sell sleeving/shrink wrap/tools. If anyone knows of any plaves that sell in £ please let me know! =( PS. i tryed staples and it didnt woek. i think there is too much of a gap between the pin and the plastic bit. Also my CPU power cable has square pins, and does the mobo lead. please help! =( EDITED 1 HOUR LATER: I was attempting this on my old crappy CPU before i tryed it on my shiny enermax.... My probelm was with the square pins, BUT i DONT need to remove / sleeve these cables because the mobo cable is already sleeved, and the CPU power cable has an adapter thingy halfway along, which wold cause probelm with sleeving, as well as that cable being out of sight anyway. I still need to find somewhere to get sleeving and shrink wrap in the UK (wish we had radioshack, it sounds like a handy place)

Awesome and helpful guide. Just got done sleeving mine. It's a piece of crap, but at least it looks better now. Luckily, I had free time in my aircraft electronics lab so I could use the pin removal tools and heat guns they had.
I didn't get to the 24-pin ATX though, so I had to do that at home with staples and a lighter (It sucked ). Oh, and I didn't have any cold ones to enjoy after I was done. Thanks a bunch, though. Some before and after pics:

I've ordered a sleeving kit, but I was worried about the extra power left over when you turn the psu off. Can I just leave it off for an hour or so and it'll go away? Or is their another way to get the last of the power out? I don't have the jumper cables you used.
