I ordered my stuff yesterday and with ground scheduled it is scheduled to be delivered today somehow. I don't feel like waiting on the tool kit. Do you think I can take off the connectors using staples? Do I just bend them like in the original post and push down in the hole to get the wires to come out?

Staples would probably work on the ATX connectors; but I don't think they'd work too well for the molex connectors.

no I think the best way is a Molex removal tool. Newegg has them, FrozenCPU has them.

I still need to pick up my wires. Going with the nice traditional straight black, its going to mesh with my black tubing for WC along with my red LED fans.

ok i have run into a snag while sleeving mine. I have NO plans to remove the wires from the 20 pin connector. How can I sleeve it without removing them? has to be a way

It really is best to remove the 20-pin connector for sleeving; besides, I'm not sure that the connector with the wires would fit through the sleeving braid let alone the heatshrink.

Paper clips
I did mine that way, the hard and miserable way. But the 24-pin looks KILLER once it gets fully sleeved
