Default Calling all TT Armor owners

Im trying to figure out the best way to mount my new 25cm fan on my Armors sidepanel. It came with a grill and kinda like a surround. I really dont want to hack up the fan to make it fit with the TR 120 extreme.

Anyone ever mounted the TR 120 extreme with the 25cm fan Armor sidepanel? If possible could those who have post pics?

Move it to the outside.

Looks retro-cool and works even better since the fan is further distance from the components ... letting the air flow spread out a bit ...

Here's some shots of my rig:

...

All the components necessary for mounting that you see in the above shots are simply moved from the inside ... screws, sleeves and all.

For me it was a must ... my Infinity just wouldn't fit ... and like the OP, I didn't care to be dremeling on the shroud.

How did you get the fan grill to stay on?

Used a couple pieces of clear tape.

At first I used four small dabs of epoxy on the edge of the shroud but that popped loose to easy.

Couple of small pieces of clear tape works great.

You really shouldn't even have to do that. I guess it just depends on the mobo thickness and luck, because I've had a few people respond to the same question with "It fit just fine with no modification"
