Default First Mod, Need Help.

I have a CM 690 case. And I love it and have re-done my wire management and I really like it.

The only problem is that the case no side panel. And you can't see the neat wires.

So of course I want to do a mod that looks similar to this. Or the window exactly like it.

One question I have is that this totally scraps my side panel fan right?

---------

Now.. I am a complete noob at case mod and haven't done one in my life so I need 100% guidance.

What do I need? How do I do it?

You need a dremel. You can pick one up at a local hardware store for about 30- 50 bucks. After that, a strip of rubber to cover the cuts would look nice, and of course, some acrylic. If you don't want to do it yourself, I know CyberDruid offers this service at his online store:
CyberDruidpc.com

You buy a window kit, send him the side panel, he installs it for you and sends it back.

Home Depot has rent services also. Maybe you could get a dremel for a day for 8 bucks or so.

Im going to be doing this mod soon. Hopefully it will work out well. I would like to do an actual design but I think that would be too hard.

I did a custom design on my "Flip this" build, its not hard if you know how to handle a jigsaw/dremel. Its only limited to your cutting and imagination
