I will probably be removing the bay covers. Although they still do provide good airflow.

Use aluminum tape to seal up the sides of the bay and use foam to seal off the sides of the fan.

Turbine type mods, or funnels will not increase performance, unless you're directing the exhaust at something.

Computer fans don't work like jet engines. Computer fans are purely for volume, not velocity.
