Default Case Modding Advice/ Help

Hi guys, i have a Compaq OEM Case, and i want to mod it.. my ideas are a bit boring, my best mod was a Small hole i cut on the Side to act as a VGA Vent.. it was less than perfect.. so id like you guys to give me a few ideas and cool stuff i can do with it.

Here a Pics

VGA Side ( that hole is the ''vent'' i made with a light mounting plate from a trailer)

Other Side

front

Inside my system ( yes i know its dusty in there)

The Case Measures 7 Inches wide by 14 inches in height by 16 inches from back to front.

So what do you think? can this OEM Case be Modded?

Closer look at the back

personally I would say make a window on the side that you made the "vent", if thats more money then you can afford, then try some mesh instead of plexi. Paint the inside of your case, a diff color than the outside, for a bit of a contrast. Add some LED fans to it, and find a way to pick up or make some covors for the front drive bays. If your really wanting to mod, take a look at some of the other mod tip sites, and figure out a way to make a new front. If you spend a few bucks and replace the ribbon cables, and work on the wiring inside your case, it will lower the temps and increase the looks quite a bit. try some sort of looming on the cables that r really visable. That should also help. Also for future refferance it would be helpfull to give an aproxamite spending limit. Good luck and keep us posted.

But for an even better experience, I'd recommend Win95. Even more skinned down, which means MORE PERFORMANCE!

Don't forget body filler and sandpaper

Mod the front with a fan intake and add the rear for better air flow

Hey, read through and look at the pics of my "Flip this Case" build in my sig. I used a stock HP case and modded it. Maybe it will give you some ideas. But I would say at least do a window mod on the side panel, cable management, and/or some paint.
