Default At what point is it overkill on fans?

Ok lets start out that my dad is a machinist, he came over for dinner the other day with my wife and I. I showed him my computer, and he was like you should add some more stuff to it. I raised my eyebrow and he suggested this:

Add 2x120mm fans to the top(or 92mm depending on room), add one more 80mm to the side near the bottom, and add 3x80mm to that room between the mobotray and hdd cage. Where the red circles are. Also we could change the side panel to plexiglass as well, and thats where we would add fans. Also we would cut out the case fan grill off the back and use some sort of fan grills that bolt on for the back/top.

The question is, is it worth it. Noise isn't an issue for me, I am currently running two 120mm delta 137cfm fans that aren't exactly quiet. I am sure I have plenty of airflow but this might look cool? My dad has a full sized milling machine I know its full sized because we moved it and broke a refrigerator dolly moving it. It took 4 people to move it, it looks like this:

EDIT:
It looks like this now, those side fans on the lower side are being held on by two screws each.

Personally I think you're better with less fans but with say 4 140cfm fans on a fan controller.

Then you can have silence and also the option of gale force winds in your case.
Worked wonders for me.

If noise is a factor, then anything more than 3 120mm's at ~80cfm is too much.

If you can maintain good flow front to rear, but with that proposed set up it looks like you'll have lotsa turbulence.

Too many fans on the sides blowing at each other and disrupting airflow.

Thats what I am afraid of, I definately want one top fan and a plexiglass side with air holes. The only fan that was just too much noise for me was my 80mm vantec tornado, I have a fan controller so like my deltas I have them turned down slightly but run them full blast when needed.
