Default So, I got this mod all planned out in my head.

Alright, I think of odd things to do at odd times. Here's my plan. I want to get an old server case, paint it black and get some metal mesh, and put the soviet flag on it. So, I played with MSpaint too for a general idea.

Any thoughts, suggestions greatly appreciated. And the soviet flag STAYS.

ASIDE from the MASSIVE, MASSIVE irony of placing a symbol of communism (an ideology which strives for equality) onto the side of a computer - built under capitalistic values (such as greed and excess to name the first two that pop to mind).... it looks reasonably good

Put a plexiglass side window onto it, add the hammer-sickle see through sticker onto the plexiglass, get some red cold cathodes and red LED lights and build away... OH, and don't forget to buy yourself an ironic Che Guevara shirt to match while you're at it - You bourgeoisie swine you

Love the hammer and sickle. I studied russian revolutions for a year, i find it all so interesting lol.. anyway. I like the idea of plexi, umm if you could have the flag etched into the plexi, backlit by red cathodes so that the h&s lights up.

That's exactly what I was thinking! IMO, it would look alot cooler than just a sticker

Eh, I thought of the window idea and thought, "it's too common" also, it wont be a sticker, it'll be spray painted metal mesh.

I was other people suggest putting red cathodes inside but still leaving and painting the mesh to the flag. The cathodes will just embrace the red paint of the flag and glowing through.

Awesome! And Communism doesn't state that you cannot have a PC but if communism in Russia still stayed, then most likely, computers would be for everyone since the soviet union kept up with standards.

I think it is wonderful looking idea, and I was going to do the same with my PC. A Canadian flag on one side (red cathode), and the soviet icon on the other (red cathode).
