Default My little PSU "mod"

well.. this dont look like a PSU?




because its not a PSU



its just a 120mm fan



but wheres the PSU then? lets look into the front..



that looks like a PSU.. because it is the PSU



but then.. you might wonder why i did this.. so well, i did this to get more room above the Freezer 7, and to get a better airflow to the top of my case..



and well, the results.. in idle, the cpu idles now 1100RPM @ 41șC when it used to idle at 1400RPM @ 42șC

but.. hey.. wheres my DVD drive then??

well, its not the best choice, but its just sitting out of my case with cables going in

props for the effort it took to do that but I guess it's not my taste and for the temp difference it makes I'll keep my unmodded PSU.

you mean the gray thing in tha last pic? its a amp on the bottom, radio (AM/FM) in the middle, and a old casette player on the top.. they are all 33 years old

works just perfect.. i did the temp tests with sidepanel on, like i always keep it.. just removed it so i can take pics of the interior, and so i can clean the wires and silencing (wich im doing now)
