I’ve had a problems finding out the best way to do this. I’m aiming for good aesthetics on this. I’ve tried searching for hose grommets; however I cannot find any which fit a 5mm panel and have an ID of ¾”.
__________________I tried a few things out on a spare bit of acrylic I've got... I’ve recently bought some rubber edge trim for a 5mm panel, but the minimum radius for the trim is 2cm, which leaves holes much larger than needed in the side of the case, and the trim dies not join up exactly. This solution would work, but it does not look that good ![]() The other option is to cut ¾” hole through the panel and just leave it at that, with no trimmings. ![]() What do you think would look better? Opinions would be much appreciated!

I think the 2nd looks better. but if u r moving the tube quite often, be careful tat it will cut the tube into 2.
jus my 2 cents...

Thanks for the advice. The tube passing through will have to bend quite alot. The tube will follow the path shown in the pictures below:

I like the second approach, just make sure you sand down the edges so they are almost rounded so you have less chance of chaffing or snagging your hose.

Would a counter sink do the job?

Those would be perfect, but unfortunately they do not allow for a 5mm panel. I've tried looking for hose grommets for a 5mm panel, but I can find them anywhere. I thought about cutting one of the ones above in half, and then sticking the halves either side of the hole, but eventually they would come off and leave a nice smear across the acrylic.

The 2nd option would look fine provided you:
1. Bevel the edges 2. Polish the insides of the holes to remove the 'frosted' look

I picked up a rounded needle file which should do the job. I'm gonna try polishing the inside of the hole with a dremel polish bit and some of the dremel polishing compound.
