I have a P182 and want to add a window. I have the acrylic, but what can I use to attach the plastic to the side panel. I really dont want to use molding because it sticks out and looks bad. Instead, is there anything else I can use, for example in this post (link below) MotO did not use molding and I want to have that same exact look. Anyone know what he may have used to attach the plastic. I tried to contact him, but could not see the PM button (I'm new here).

Double sided tape, adhesive or screws. You are allowed to be as creative as you'd like

edit: For that look, I would suggest double sided tape or an adhesive (like gorilla glue or anything else that is viscus)

CD in response to whether folding is a waste:

1) The outer edge of the window is nominally smaller than the inside edge of the cut-out and is held in place by a rubber gasket/seal

2) the outer edge of the window is larger than the inner edge of the cut-out and is bolted/screwed/bonded to either the inside face or the outside face.

I work at Boater's World Marine Center, and i just use some of the marine sealant that we have in stock. I actually just did my window mod this week, and it turned out great. here are some pics. i also used Accent tape (pin striping for a boat), to go around the edge of the cut.

3M double sided tape (#4010) available at Wal-Mart! Clear tape. Very strong. Good Stuff.
