So,Im soon to tear into my rig (This weekend) to paint the drive-cages of it, etc. And I have to remove all the half-velcro, half-tape stuff from it. So im thinking, I may as well buy some new CCFL-Mounting stuff.
So, what would you suggest I use to mount CCFLs to the inside of my case?

You can buy tie-strap fasteners that stick to the inside of the case. Just peal off the backing and stick them where you want. They have a loop in the center to secure the tie strap. I'm not sure if Radio Shack sells them but you can get them through Digikey, 1-800-DIGI-KEY. Ask for the 1" by 1" ones.

I do what AMD2600 suggested.
It costs more than some other solutions (clear packing tape [good idea btw]), but it is a clean-looking installation.

Any K-Mart, Wallmart, etc. should have self adhesive velcro. Typically they have it in strips you can cut to length, or in pre-cut tabs shaped like circles and/or squares, approximately 1 inch in size.

I myself used the left over two sided tape from my window mod. And they STUCK!
Now it may be a problem removing them, but you'll have no worries about them falling.. ![]()
