I jus stripped off everything to do some case mod while saving some money to buy a new cpu.
my case is a powerlogic U3000MX Pictures are shown below.. So my question is wat color should i paint the frame/interior with?? the exterior would be black in color. i would be doing the side tranparent after i cut the side panel. the design had been drawn on the panel as can be seen frm the pics below. I jus cut two holes for my fans 120mm at the front and 92mm at the back i can't get some u-tubing to cover the side of the holes. Is there any other alternative way to cover the sides?? Other mods can aso be suggested but not too hard ones. Thanks... Edit: Sorry for the wrong term used. I forgotten the term. u-tubing means the c-channel. sorry.

You could put some sound dampening foam on the case sides, and cut the fan grills out

I love a black and white theme, but it's really you're personal preference. Or if you want something that stands out more try green.

What colors do you like?
I looks like it would be too much of a PITA to seperate the drive cages and the rear I/O panel. When I fist glanced at a pic of your case, "two-tone" came to mind.... the main body being one color and the cages and the rear I/O panel (backplane) another color. But, it looks like that would require removing rivets ... no fun there (?)You could go for some UV highlights inside the case by using a UV pen, but that would require the purchase of some UV lighting. OCec3's idea is cool. Instead of paint you ould line the interior with sound-dampening material. ![]() *subscribes* Mod on!

You could use automotive door trim.
It is a little more rigid than standard u-channel molding, but will do the job.
