Default Modding/refurbishing Question - Old Power supply/ switch

So im "Refurbishing" (As I call it - Taking old case, gutting, make awesome) A crappy, old, generic 1995 Computer case, and while taking out the power supply, I find this thick, long power-cable that attaches to the front.

As it turns out - It's the power-switch.

However, the actual SWITCHING mechanism is attached to the wire, and soldered to it. So I suppose my question is this -

Where could I purchase a completely new power-switch-mechanism, and what is it called?

And a few other questions...

I have identified that a major problem I am having is the so-called "Popper Bits". Little screw-like manifests. How do I get these off?

The Motherboard / Tray / IO Plate are NOT of modern size or shape.

What is the smallest-sized Motherboard available? Perhaps I can drill new mounting-holes, etc.

Let me guess.....Compaq? They look kinda like a cross between a phillips head and a standard slotted head? Those are an uber pain to get out. I think I used needle nose pliers and grabbed the sides of them and got them that way.
Or you could be talking about a different kind that secure the mobo to the standoffs?
