Default Making a fan grill, what tools will i need

Basically the tools:
Dremel kit (already have) http://www.canadiantire.ca/browse/pr...romSearch=true
Blue and black paint (have black paint)
Going to need some sandpaper (what grit?)
Maybe polish (do i need any ? and what kind)
Sheet of metal (will buy from canadian tire)

This is basically what i want it to look like

But obviously the center circle will have to be connected to something. So that will be a bit tricky. Or maybe i'll leave a center circle and paint the ocn flame on there.

I basically want this grill, but withh less spaces in between.

And this grill is pretty good as well, but for my level of modding, probably won't be do able. http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.c...1995_424406472

And also what size are the holes for mounting screws ?

only problem with center is your going to greatly decrease air flow, imo ps you could solider some wire to the back of flame to connect it to the rest of grill.

if the grill is resting on the fan you've got a dead spot in the center anyway. looks kinda cool i think.

no it's not because that's where the hub of the fan is, where no air flows.

i really recommend that you practice a lot with the dremel if you haven't had a lot of experience from it.
