Just would like to know what is the best place to pick up some rubber edge molding... You know, the kind that you put around fresh cut metal edges to protect wires from being chaffed and to dress up window panels.
The cheapest Ive found it thus far is at Petra's for $1 per foot plus shipping. I'd like to find it locally, so I dont have to pay shipping. Can anyone confirm that Home Depot or Lowes has some?

You could probably pick something similar up from an Auto store. It's used around some windows I believe. Maybe try Home Depot or Lowes as well? I never looked there.

I can tell you Home Depot does not have it. I am looking to get some locally as well and my search has yielded no results. I guess I will have to resort to petra's.

if u dont want to order online and want something similar, go to an auto store like checkers/kragen or auto zone and find automotive door trim.. they come in like 2-3ft pieces (2 pieces per pack). it was syrillians suggestion to me on my project. worked pretty good. slightly thicker than u/c-channel so gonna have to double up on the doublesided tape.
good luck!

Direct from the supplier. McMaster-Carr is the likely place that most retailers get it, or I'm willing to bet.....
MC Put 3655 in the search box. EDIT: Locally, probably door trim like the others mentioned.
