Default Really need some help guys

Well, so far no luck

But I have a better understanding of what I need.

It is a on-off-on DPDT "center off" rotary keyswitch with momentary action for one of the on positions. Try saying that a few times in a row.

youre trying to have 3 distinct functions plus some default position, I think thats too much logic for one cylinder switch. the problem is the default return position in the mix with three other functions, where you would always need to pass thru one to get to the other, which doesnt work at least logically. what if you used two cylinders?

the first could be like you stated...
momentary/main power<----->default rest position<---->momentary/reset

then a second cylinder like
main on<----->main off

Oh believe me, these things get so freaking high-tech its amazing, they even have ones where different keys can be used in the same lock, but each key has its own function, and one lock could be used for dozens of different independent circuits.

I believe you, and I dont know much about lock switches and whats available. I just tried to envision it from a logic and spatial standpoint I wish you luck tho. Keep us posted on how it turns out.

Found this site. Very last switch on the list is the one I think suits my needs the best

They had exactly what they needed, pretty much, the momentary action was on the opposite side of what I wanted, but I can't be too picky, I want to start the case next week. Best part is, they have a rep with an office down the street, so if he doesn't write me back. I will go visit him.
