Default case window begone

hi. just wanted to know if theirs a way to get a side panel without a window for cases that come with one? is there a way i could fill it in or something. the reason for this question is that i'm looking for a good case to mod and all of the ones i prefer have a window. thanxs

If you are wanting to do a case mod, you could always just pick up a sheet of metal and mod a new side panel on it yourself. Just use the Window's panel as a refferance, it shouldn't be too hard. Or you could always just do some sort of a dual color paint job and either replace the window with mesh, or other metal, or just leave it plastic and paint over it.

well the thing is i wanted to have a small circular window. and painting over it would still leave me with the indent of were the acrylic was/is. i would think it would be hard to make a side panel that would slide in were the other one did.

If your not wanting the indent, you could always get some bondo or something of the like, and sand it level with the metal. Or if you wanted to get really creative, and have the tools, you could cut out a window spot on the other side panel and just put a peice of metal or plexi glass over it then paint it to match the other side as well.

The Lian Li is a far better case but if you do get a case with a window froggy's ideas seem very solid but would require some hands on appreciation but I guess thats what modding is all about.

what i would do is contact the case manufacturer see if you could by the case of them with no window or buy the case and contact manufacture see if you could by the other side pannel of them so you got both proper pannels and both havetn got a window
