Default Weird Case Mod Idea

Ive had an odd (maybe just flat out dumb) idea to make or mod a case using mirrors. I know it may seem weird but if the mirrors where cut right and placed correctly with some cathode tubes (or other lighting method LED etc.) I think it may create some cool effects but how would the mirrors handle the heat? Cost of mirrors may be a problem too.. and cutting and drilling... but I still want some opinions!

Also has it been done already?

P182SE. Haha.
It would be difficult to think of a cool way to use mirrors in terms of interior. Good luck. Potentially could be awesome. I have no idea how you would do it, but that's why it would be awesome.

I think the mirrors would reflect alot of heat, And it would be confusing when building lol...Grabbing at wires that are not even there

lol it sounds cool, but yeah there would be no heat dissipation. Just make sure you have the case really well ventilated.

Or, you can get smooth sheets of mylar very cheap. They have it at flower shops for pennies... Not that durable though, this would be cosmetic fluff at the end of the build, or, you have to be very careful not to bend, tear, etc.

Or you can look for mirror wholesale at hardware stores (mom and pop type), get your dimensions right, and have the glass cutter set you up. Should be able to get away with that with proper planning for <$80.
