I need to find a material that will cover these areas but still have holes and allow a bit of light through for effect. Modders Mesh is too see through. The idea is that the mess of cables from the PSU and the side of the drivebays not be visible.
The mesh I'm using is from a wire mesh garbage can, but it's too see through as well. Any suggestions? ![]() ![]()

Acrylic maybe? Or some wood with carbon fiber film maybe?

Acrylic might work. Maybe something with a darkish tint. Wood would not allow any light through, which I still want a bit of.

Solar Gray acrylic you can get it at TAP or USPlastics that will help cover the wires up but still allow a little light to pass through

I'll look for acrylic up here in Canada.
The thing is, the section that covers the drivebays is slightly curved, which is why some sort of metal would be ideal since I could bend it.

You can bend acrylic too with a heat gun and a little patience acrylic can be bent into amazing shapes.
Check Dae Ja Voo's tutorials for a plexi bending tutorial

True enough.
I'm thinking about getting some dark red or dark almost black acrylic and etching it with a design...

You couls always get some car window tint. Cheap and if it doesn't look good, you can then replace with acrylic.
