Arrow Antec 900 - Cable Control Help

Ok, so I'm going to be re-doing my cable job on the Antec 900. I think I could get it a little neater!

I'm looking for suggestions on where and how to place things, like HDD bays, DVD Drive, Fans, Cables, Etc.

Here's how it is at the moment;

and the back... is actually a lot worse than this, this is a while back, but you get the idea...

----------------------------

Here's how it looked with one HDD and without the bottom fan;

So, any suggestions?
I've got a a converter so I can mount a HDD in a spare CD Bay (without the Antec Bay thing)

Thanks!

you can cut some holes in the mobo pan to route wires for the ide and the atx 24, kinda like I did...

but yours is way cleaner to start with than mine was
also you can route the atx 4 thru the hole near the psu and up along the back, if its too short they sell 12 inch extensions at frozencpu.com

Thanks for the suggestions!
I'm not really looking to drill more holes or anything though...

ok, but you can still route the atx 4 pin like I mentioned, it seems you have an opening in the upper left corner that you can get to the mobo 4 pin from without drilling. Other than that it looks pretty good

(Or am I mistaken? Is your 4 pin atx plug on your mobo between the cpu cooler and the upper back case 120 fan?)

did you cut the hole near the PSU and the uppermost hole?
My dad's A900 only has 2 cable-routing holes...

It actually looks quite good. The only thing I can think of is to cut some more holes, closer to the IDE and 24pin mobo power, but thats probably not going to make it look much cleaner than it already is.
good job on what you have in those pics! How old are the pics and how much has changed since then is the question

I would move the hdd up top and use one hole for the wiring for both the optical and the hdd. You also may want to consider a hdd flip. I would also drill a hole closer to the mobo for the other wires. It looks nice if you can run the wire right down under the edge of the mobo. Turn the rear 120mm fan so the wire is exiting the fan by the back so you can run the wire right under the mobo or right out through the back panel.

You can also run the inverter wires through the little gaps at the top and bottom so you don't need to run them around the drive bays. You should do a PSU flip as well. It takes a bit of work, but worth it. There is only so much you can do. I noticed that adding a little shrink wrap to my pump cable looks much better that different colors. I have been meaning to do that to the other exposed wires. Heres mine:

The darker side of cable management

hdd flip

I also removed the side panel fan holder to allow more exhaust.

Get a couple of 8 pin eps extenders for your power cord. that way you can route it under rather than across your board.

I did that with my cosmos build. they are only $4 each.

My 4 pin is between the CPU Cooler and the top rear 120MM, I can always get an extension cable though... Thanks!

Yeah, They weren't there when I got it.
Thanks. Well, the top one is one that I took yesterday. The others are maybe a month old....

do the tuck under for the IDE's as suggest, and i reccommend removing the fan on the lower drive bay and flipping your SATA drives for a neater look, but you will need to drill through the bay housing on the other side to run the sata and power cables. Here's my 900A to show you....
