Just another idea for you, could you implement some freeware image re-sizing application into it?

Google for VSO Image Resizer, it's a god send of an app.
Gonna download the 1.04 version now and give it another go.

Also, image re-naming would be a useful feature.
When I copy pics off my camera they're all stupid names like DSC_01, I usually have to manually edit them to be 1.jpg, 2.jpg etc.

edit: in fact I am going to work on the Image resizing now, It can be done in the app code (no third party tools needed) - straight GDI+ in .NET

Just been trying it out then, I don't like the Folder Tree for when choosing pictures to upload.
It doesn't give me an option to pick files off the desktop unless I go into the actual Dektop folder on the C:

Thats a pretty important thing to me as I keep a shortcut to my build log pictures on my desktop.

yeah, this has been a sticking point for me with this app. I dont like the navigation aspect currently. I am thinking about adding drag and drop to it, so you could have your source image folder open, and simply drag and drop a file or files into the add images dialog. Or something along those lines. It will improve with time, as time allows

Any luck with the image re-names & sizing idea?
I'm going nuts here having to keep renaming the pics I pull off my camera.

Marcus, I use a freeware program FastStone Resizer that can rename a batch of pictures in one click. I use it to place my watermarks but it will also rename/convert files together. Just make sure you make a separate folder for the exported pictures to go into.

Don't know if it's just what you could use, but figured I'd put it out there!

yeah, I'd use something temporary for now until my build is done, but I may have time this weekend to work on the app since I wont really have time to work on the build I think I will definitely add the renamer thing for sure this weekend. Image resizer will need a bit more time - I actually have the code I need just havent test fitted it yet

I have been using an image batch resizer, and manually renaming my files too, so dont feel bad
