Default How do you make a LED strip?

Hey guys... I've been wondering on how to do a led strip similar to this. http://jab-tech.com/Flex-Light-Pro-3...V-pr-3932.html

I want to buy leds like this http://cgi.ebay.com/5mm-UV-LED-Bulb-...2em118Q2el1247
and put them in a flexible on a wire... For the power, it would connect to a molex, does anyone know how to do this? Thanks in advance!

MAybe use this http://jab-tech.com/300MCD-5mm-UV-le...k-pr-2392.html, instead of th ebay one?

are you wanting flexibility within this chain, what kind of circuit are you going to use? (Series or Parallel)

yellow molex <-> (+ LED -) <-> (+ LED -) <-> (+ LED -) <-> black molex

Pretty simple stuff... the above is a series chain (like hooking up batteries basically)... The range on those LEDs are 6-12V, and since I'm sure you want them bright, I would use the yellow molex (12v line)

Give me a second and I'll draw it up on MS Paint

*edit* there

And to prettify it and turn it into an actual singular strip...

If you look closely at each led, one leg of the LCD is longer than the other! That's the Anode (+) the shorter one is the cathode (-).
If you happen to have clipped the wires before checking; Look at the LED from the top--->
there is one side of the base that is flattened ( so looks like a D instead of an O) The leg next to the flattened side is the (-). If all else fails, just hook it up - it's a diode; one way round it will work, the other it won't.
cheers
Good luck

[Edit] Killa's picture sure is mo purdiffiier than my description
