depends on how quiet you want the fans. if theyre quiet enough for you then its not worth it. if its to loud then a fan controller is worth it

all depends on whether you're trying to get a quieter setup than you originally have. Some people buy fan controllers and really huge CFM monster fans so they can turn them down during browsing, and up during gaming/benching. For 20$, it's really a good bet if you want to tinker with your fans.

Depends if you like sound or not.

I will never, ever, ever, ever build/own another computer without a fan controller however. They are too useful to NOT have for that price.

I actually own that exact controller, I like it alot and use the switches to control my cathodes

Do fan controllers only work with those small 4 pin connectors? Or can they work with molex too?

All you need is a 4-pin to Molex converter.
