Default Hole saws.

Can someone link me straight to some good quality hole saws in the equalivant sizes of 120mm and 80mm. They must be able to fit in a standard drill as I have a keyless Dewalt 14.4v.(I am pretty sure they are all the same, but I just wanted to be very clear.)

Your local Home Depot has a good selection of hole saws.

I recently picked up a couple Dewalt hole saw bits from Ace Hardware. Also snagged a quick swap Dewalt mandrel.

I've been extremely pleased with the purchase. They have a slightly different tooth design than ones I had used previously; and it seems to improve their performance significantly. The hot-swap chuck is pretty slick too.

These are the correct sizes however some of the 4.5" hole saws require a bigger drill. Make sure you get the right size for your drill. Yeah Ace, Truvalue, Walmart, Big Lots, Lowes, or Home Depot should be able to help if having a hard time finding the 4.5" most tool rental shops will carry it.

use a bi-metal hole saw, available at any hardware store. better examples use the same mandrel with varying diameter circular bits. however, i was able to find one that was all one piece (mandrel and bit as one) for less than 1/2 the price of the others... Most hole saws will require a drill with a chuck. good luck

I got a bi-metal Rigid set with 5 or 6 smaller sizes 11/16 up to 2.5 or something, then I got some loose ones, 7/16, 2 3/4, 3, 3 1/2, 4 1/2. I also picked up a 3/8" bi metal pilot pit for the smallest one, the kit had a 3/8 pilot-collar for its saws, and I got a standard 3/8 arbor with locking fly for the larger sizes. I use a Dewalt 3/8 corded power drill with keyless chuck. It has a nice smooth flow trigger that lets you easily do low rpm (yet hi torque) to hi end rpm very smoothly.

I just ordered some switches, a wire stripper, and a nice automatic center punch from them today
