If you've still got your motherboard box and the antistatic bag it came in, put the bag on top of the box and put the motherboard on top of it. That's what I'm using right now. I'll post pictures of it soon to show you what I mean.

Just put it on top of the box, not the bag. I believe the surface of the bag is conductive.

I doubt one side of the bag would be conductive and the other side wouldn't be. Besides, it's worked perfectly fine for me with multiple motherboards.

lol dont worry i havent put it on the carpet yet :P but thank you for your help i dont have the box or anything other than cardbored saw a previous post that, cardboar is okay so i will do that tonight

I tried to use a case again but it's interfering with my sound card. I don't know why but it won't stop. So I guess back to caseless.

i run caseless, until my new case(Modded Lian-Li PC V1000Z) arrives next month.(it comes from teh USA lulz.)

Yes, this is my old mobo, since im not willing to ruin my SLi mobo and 2nd 9600.
But, i might stay running caseless and get my 'main' parts on my desk ^^
(E1400, 2nd 9600GSO, P6N SLI, 4x 2Gb RAM, 750Gb Hdd)
