It doesn't matter, infact it's the head(top) of the HD that gets warm.

Just use light sprays in the corners. Use caution, lol.

On the HDD's he meant flip them around to face the other way, like if your holding it and the plugs are facing you, turn it so they are facing away from you (not flip it over so the circuits are on the top). It helps hide the wires

the outter shell of the second HDD came out good (many light coats is the way to go)

the inside will be a chalange, to keep the paint even on all the walls on the inside

ya could be, but its not happening to the Power Supply Holder, so i think that it was too thick of a coat, its been drying for 6 hours now and does not produce a fingre print any more. but the old fingre prints will not rub off, but i might just sand it in the end and re do it as repo man sugested

o i see so the sata plugs a facing away from me, but i am not worried about looking neat or nudging the cables as theres a big laundry basket on top of it all, which protects it and makes the table look messy anyway

Oh, was he talking about on the table? I thought he meant in the case, thats what I mean. In a PC case, turning the drives around makes the wiring a little cleaner.

That HDD cage looks -much- better!

For the inside, what I usually do is, like, lets see how to describe that. Use one quick spray on the side, like just a quick tap on the nozzle. Just do that around and around till you get it mostly covered. (For me) trying to use a continuous spray on an inside area, I usually run it. Fast light sprays like that keep me from running it,lol.

I've learned from a gent on another forum that only uses rattlecans on his builds is that he sticks the parts in an oven ~ 250F for an hour or so. This seems to cure any runs and gives the paint a much tougher finish.
