hi guys i need to paint my case balck
some of u may have already answered some Qs about it before asked by me

but i am finnaly doing it just some problems here and there on taking the case apart

anyway this thread is to ask how safe is this right now







normaly the basket will be on so no1 touches it

Yea, that will be fine. Long as no one buggers with it, a PC can run caseless as long as you want it too.

ya but i cant really afford a tech station
plus this is one off paint job
i dont think it would be moraly right to spend $80 on sometime u might only use once

but is this safe just for 2 or 3 days max

the only thing i find annoying is the hard drive working on that tray, and it vibrates on the plastic tray and makes one hell of a noise

Depends- how likely are you to trip and fall on it or drop something on it or w/e? Otherwise, you're fine.

I dropped my mobo one time and it still works fine, but I'd be worried about ripping out pci-e slots or something.

i got my p182 naked i am just to scared to take the top plastic off coz its been glued on insted of screwed and i dont want to pull it off so i might just put a masking tape on there

i will be updating this for the paint job

Try sitting a piece of cardboard under the drive. Or a mousepad (if you have one) it will act as a dampener for the vibrations.

Sorry didn't read the OP lol I thought you were planning on running it caseless period Didn't realize that it was only for a few days. In that case yes it is safe just be extremely careful when it comes to touching things and eating/drinking around it
