I saw a guy at a LAN party that had two layers of plexiglass for a side window and had his water cooling run between them. he had a bunch of paddle wheel like things that spun around in it plus it had a waving like effect. He said the wave effent was a surprise and he didn't do any thing special to do it.

Basically he just made a very tall and narrow res and mounted it on his side pannel.

Now if you could hook up a chiller and parital freeze the water in the window....might be interesting.
