Default What color for case Windows

I would like to know which color you guys would think would be cool for a case windows that I could make on my CM 690. There are these transparent tinted colors: http://www.delviesplastics.com/transparent_acrylic.htm, then there are flourescent colors: http://www.delviesplastics.com/Fluorescent_acrylic.htm, and then of course clear. Which of these colors should I use and should I use a CCFL inside for cool effects?

Hi.

My favorite colors are Bronze and Smoked. The Bronze looks great with Red CCFL's as it mutes the lighting subtley.

You could always just get clear acrylic and use any color that you like, but I find that the combination makes for a very bright night-light....

Isn't the point of a window is to be able to see through it?
Keep it clear man.

However, if you're planning to use it like a case stand, or incorporating it with lighting, colored acrylic would make it look better I think. Choose from your own preference.

Another option is a mirror panel; when the lights inside the case are off it acts as a mirron, but when the inside is lit it's clear.

Tap Plastics, or US Plastics are 2 places that come readily to mind.

Consider: You may wish to use cell-cast acrylic if you are going to use power tools. Cell-cast acrylic handles heat better than extruded acrylic.
