Default [AirBrush]Paint Question

1st Question is what paints are safe foor inside a Computer

2nd is where do you buy it?

3rd is I am using a airbrush for details and for flame jobs and that sort what type of spray paints would go nice with this?

I have used airguns and airbrushes a lot from my auto body classes on cars and Bike tanks and for pinstriping but never on a computer so any help would be great thanks.

Everyone I talk to says to use Automotive paints. They work the best and stick to metal. Just make sure you read some tutorial guides on painting for the best results.

Click here and then click on the first link for the guide that I used.

Spraypaints for airbrushing......I dunno anything about that so maybe someone else can throw in some input.

Any spraypaints will bond well as long as you use any automotive paint. Make sure though that you don't mix enamels and lacquers.

If you go with spray paint, don't cheap out on it and get the dollar a can stuff at walmart. They usually have more solvent and less pigment.

I haven't done much airbrushing so I can't help you there, but when it comes to painting metal, it's usually best to prime it with a good oil based primer first then go over that with whatever you want (the one I sell here will accept oil or latex).

A good local auto supply should have everything you need (Autozone/Advanced don't in my experience) and if there isn't one around a paint store might have what you need as well.

Dupli-color and Krylon are good brands for spray paints.
I think it's safe to airbrush your case on the inside, though it doesn't seem practical, since your parts would cover up most of the space available anyways. If you're airbrushing the outside, any paint would work, just make sure its good quality, so it doesn't chip or anything easily.
