TODAY is when i finally got this old server case that was lying around my dad's office. So far i have just took everything off of it and now im going to outfit it w/ some black aluminum casing and window it so it looks AWESOME! Give me suggestions and tips for the road because i haven't done something like this before. I will continously be putting up pics. THANKS Mobsta

DIdnt let me put more pictures. Also i may have to put in a different motherboard tray or mod the heck out of it because the mounting things wont go in it properly also the dimensions are (in cm) 40x19x54 LxWxH

Good luck on the mod, I've seen several vintage case mods and they look awesome when they are finished. I think a black w/ chrome trim color scheme would be cool.

I LOVE that case, used to have one myself

And for the record, its NOT a server case. Its the regular tower case Gateway used to use. In fact, they only used to sell two cases back then - that tower case, and a desktop (now known as HTPC style) case.

That is what i am going for. I also want to put in a water cooled system w/ a glowing green look. I still have ALOT to do and i just started today tonight and tomorrow i am going to research and find ALOT of my supplies. I still have to get the materials for the outside and im doing a side windows so i have to find that and A MILLION other things. Its going to be a LONG fun project. And thanks for the suggestions keep them coming! To MANYAK sorry for the misconception my dad was using it as a server haha.

Thanks again Manyak. Unlike REPO i am not going to use the same outside of the case. We kind of did the opposite i am going to (try) to use the same inside except for a few things (mobo tray) but i am completely redoing the outside because the outside is all 1 piece and is plastic.
