Im gonna add a window to my case and i was wondering if they have any acrylic or plexi glass that allows you not to see in unlit you turn on some lights in the case.

Maybe do something like an interrogation room mirror? When you turn the lights on behind the mirror, it becomes transparent. I have no idea, but it would be pretty awesome if somebody did it.

yeah the mirror acrylic has the effect i want but do they have some thats not a mirror its just plain tint looking

You could try smoked acrylic; it would make it more difficult to see what's inside till you turn the lights on.

There are several mods around these parts that used miror acrylic (bottom sheet on the left).
Bronze acrylic also has a similar effect, but when the lights are out one can vaguely see the hardware that lurks behind the window.

i might just go with regular clear acrylic. Also can you buy acrylic at lowes or homdepot.

Nightshade by VHT , it will give the glass a dark look but light will come through perfectly , I've used it to black out
my trucks tail lights , it works perfectly.
