Default I need the softest U-channel molding

I have been to about 15 stores already and everything is a no-go.

I guess the holes I made to run cables through are extremely small or something because everything I have tried is just too hard and will not fit and usually kinks or bends out of the hole because its just too small of a hole.

The irony is that even though they are small holes, they are still too large for the grommets I have been able to find, and the only grommets I have been able to find are automotive grommets that are extremely bulky and have a lot of excess rubber up top and down below.

I am in real need of this stuff because my project is on a complete hold.

Something like this maybe?

For small holes though you might need a grommet still. Find a grommet that fits whatever you're trying to put through it, then drill the hole size accordingly.

have you(or anyone else that replies) by any chance used that before, I just need the confidence of knowing I could bend this stuff in half If I wanted to without having to worry about it resisting.

Well I needed holes for my 8-pin cpu cable as well as 2 6-pin pci-e cables and so they had to be bigger than the largest grommets I could find.

How big is the hole?

I've molded this into these holes before.

Get some screen door molding. It is perfect for small holes.
I will try to find link of it being used.

Maybe for a temporary solution you could just use some silicone caulking, it does the job remarkably well actually. At least that way you could finish up your project.

The smallest is 22mm(diameter) which is about 7/8.

That petrasshop stuff looks like it would do as well, but it seems like its kind of thick.
