Doesn't matter... it's a swtich. However, standard practice has the shorter leg going to ground.

generally, the one in the middle (if theres 3 or more) will be ground and that leaves the other two open to make two separate circuits, but if you only have 2 leads then the shorter one is generally the ground to make it easier for other people to re-wire things if they have to. but it doesn't make a difference: ___/ ____ to _________ versus _____ \___ to __________
