Sup all,
__________________For my summer project I really want to build my own case.. The only modding I have done so far was paint my TT Armor so please bear with me here lol. The case will be made from acrylic.. have not decided if I want to use a color or stick with clear. I am attempting to make 2 thermal zones. Each zone having ??1x120MM fan on the front. Bottom zone will be HD's, PSU, ROM Drives. Top zone will have Mobo and such. I also want to make the top of the case easily removable or possibly hinged. Im at work right now and this is a basic sketch of what I am trying to accomplish. ![]() Basically looking for ideas/suggestions.. I am trying to learn Google Sketchup so I can do a more realistic mock up more to specifications. But I plan on making the case about 1 inch wider than the MOBO (Access for wires) and than fitting everything into the bottom zone based of the size of the mobo.

You might want to check out Syrillian/Gir's Techstation log. The overall design seems very similar to what Girface had Syrillian build him.

You will need exhaust fans. Also, I'd go for a semi-transparent color. It'll help hide your cables as well as let you see the parts.
